“ Been occasionally coming by here since 2007 it's where I had my before prom dinner with friends. Recently I've been back after my friend's wedding. This is a nice and relaxing restaurant as always. It's clean, visually unique, the food is exquisite, and the owner is very nice. The Wild Orchid is a very lovely restaurant. Period ”
“ Had dinner at the Wild Orchid before taking in a concert at Jazzbones. We arrived early on a Friday and were the first ones seated that evening. The host/server was very welcoming and took our order promptly. As you can see from the pictures, the presentation of the food was above our expectations. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the coconuts prawns while our entrees were being prepared. The food was very flavorful and the portions were on par. For us, the best part in this dining out economy was the price. We felt that the experience was well worth what we paid. ”
“ I didn't get a picture of everything we tried but I had to leave a review because we came in about 15 minutes before closing time and we were going to do take out, but the lovely couple seated us down and told us to not rush and let us enjoy our meal together. They were so sweet to us and we all got to know each other a bit and overall I had such a great experience! The food was good too and I had to take a picture of the wings. I forgot to take a picture of the rest of the food because I was too focused on eating haha. However the wings were SO flavorful and juicy and delicious. The sauce was so good as well. I had a great experience and thank you so much to the kind owners who let us stay and eat there. We had an amazing experience here. I would also like to add that the presentation was just so amazing! ”
“ What a fantastic experience, I had family in town and decided to find a local restaurant to take them to and stumbled upon this gem. The establishment was exceedingly clean, staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered 2 appetizers and one entree to split. The Sabu Sabu was delicious and came out fresh and crispy, the Crab Wontons were a table favorite and would be perfect for a quick bite if ever on the go. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao for our entree and we were very pleased with the generous portion for the price. Each of us left extremely satisfied and full. We will absolutely be returning. ”
“ Very delicious food you could taste the flavors of vegetables. They were also very helpful on which dishes could be made as vegan. The Price is on higher side. ”
“ Shared a beautiful, thoughtful and absolutely wonderful meal with my husband and two daughters tonight. The service was timely and so kind. The atmosphere was inviting, cozy, and intimate, with personal details and touches throughout. This was our first time dining here, and we will definitely be back. It’s our new favorite place to be together. I hope this restaurant gets the business it highly deserves. ”
“ Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We came in about an hour before closing and ended up being there about half an hour after closing (we felt pretty guilty about being there so late) but they NEVER made us feel rushed in our experience. The atmosphere was phenomenal, everyone we talked to was incredibly sweet, and the food is hands down the best Thai food in Tacoma (or that I've personally ever had). Will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone! ”
“ This was a great stop! I saw some negative reviews of certain aspects, so I wanted to share how positive our experience was. We ordered two iced Thai teas, a beef pad Thai, and a basil seafood. • The Thai iced teas where wonderful. • The beef pad Thai was great as well. Saw some reviews saying they didn’t have much meat or that the portion was small, my portion was a good size and I had plenty of meat pieces. (Other review said they only had 2, I had 6.) • My mother had the basil seafood. She said that the seafood was cooked perfectly. I had a few bites, it was delicious! Setting, atmosphere, and service wise, it was all fantastic too. The employees were very polite and kind, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing (we were the only people there), there was music being played but it was very quiet, the bathrooms were clean, etc. ”
